1. System Composition

The parking space guidance solution based on the MPD053ND geomagnetic parking space detection system consists of three parts: a front-end data acquisition subsystem, a network transmission subsystem, and an intelligent parking management cloud platform. It relies on narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) communication from various operators, eliminating the need for deploying receivers and enabling relatively simple communication network construction. Currently, NB-IoT networks have been basically covered in cities across the country, so the solution can be applied by directly installing geomagnetic vehicle detectors on parking spaces.

The system is composed of geomagnetic vehicle detectors, toll inspection PDAs, and an owner APP.

2. On-Site Configuration

At least one MPD053ND geomagnetic vehicle detector is installed under each parking space to automatically detect and accurately sense the real-time occupied/vacant status of the parking space.

Toll inspection PDAs are used by parking lot administrators and toll inspectors, with management functions including check-in and check-out, license plate recognition via photo, toll collection, scan-to-pay, receipt printing, equipment inspection, and issue reporting. These functions avoid loopholes in traditional manual toll collection.

The parking APP provides practical functions such as parking lot and parking space inquiry, one-click navigation, parking fee payment, message push, personal settings, and complaint & suggestion submission.

3. Expected Effects of the Solution

· Urban managers can dynamically grasp real-time data on the distribution, usage, and occupancy status of parking spaces in the area;

· Realize the effective integrated management of urban static traffic and dynamic traffic, and effectively promote and improve the level of urban management;

· Parking operators conduct refined management based on data, effectively reducing error rates, plugging toll loopholes, and improving management efficiency;

· Parking users can quickly find available parking spaces near their destinations with one click and have access to convenient and diverse payment methods.
